Hybrid Daylilies

Beautiful, diverse, prolific, and resilient, these sun-loving plants are simply amazing!  Non-invasive (unlike inferior predecessors that pre-date hybrid types),  the clump grows larger every year but never becomes aggressive. They come in a dazzling array of colors, shapes, and sizes.

But there’s more! Hybrid daylilies are the garden's ultimate survivors, shrugging off droughts, pests, and diseases. They're like the Chuck Norris of plants, super tough and ready to kick any gardening challenge to the curb. :) All of the varieties listed below are registered cultivars with the American Daylily Society. (Bloom time - summer)

Mary’s Gold - I know what you’re thinking…..another yellow daylily? Blah. But you couldn’t be more wrong. Mary’s Gold was the first daylily I ever acquired (many years ago). It is the OG of my daylily obsession, and for a reason. With a 6.5 inch brilliant golden  bloom and a green throat, it is simply stunning in the garden. Number available: 2

Royal Frosting - Pure white is rare in the daylily world, but this one comes pretty close! Its 5.5 inch bloom is nearly white, with a bright green throat. Dublin Elaine - Okay....full disclosure....years ago I acquired this daylily because its name contained my name. But narcissism aside, what an amazing cultivar! A dependably double daylily (nice alliteration, eh?), its 5.5 inch peachy-pink bloom has a friendly yellow-green throat peeking through. The "floof" (my characterization, not an official descriptor LOL) in the middle is delightful! Number available: SOLD OUT

Dominic - This cultivar is a magnificent, deep burgundy color with a gold throat. Its 5.5 inch flowers have rich and velvety petals, and it's one of the first to bloom each year in my garden.
